He's Here!

And we are excited.Baby Christopher Carl came into the world yesterday at 4:00 AM. It was beautiful. Today was placement. It was emotional, but also beautiful. We arrived home this evening.

When we bought it about a week ago I thought it was kind of like an announcement to the world of something I wasn't ready to say out loud yet. Anyone would suspect me of insanity especially since I love my Camry...unless...my family was about to grow. So, now I am ready to say it...I think. We are growing. Soon we will be taking a drive to St. George and when we come back the van will make sense to the world.

Trying out the new camera

We bought a much needed early Christmas present. Our other camera had been used by children far too often and was sporting a broken shutter among other defects.

The images are sharper, more focused and the camera is cute. What more can you ask from a point and shoot?

Dear Dave,

I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for staying up late last night doing laundry to surprise me. It was a great surprise. Instead of sorting, organizing, folding and putting away laundry on this Monday we did THIS. And it was WAY MORE FUN. Don't worry, we piled the leaves back up so we can have more fun when you are home this evening. So Thank You.
